Terms of Service
These terms govern the relationship between the provider and the client when booking and using services, and when buying goods and digital content, through activeosteopathy.cz.

Provider

Services
Osteopathic sessions in practice (Prague — Smíchov, Jindřichův Hradec), online consultations, educational workshops and lectures. The scope and price of each service is listed in the Pricing section.
Booking
Bookings are made online via the booking system or by e-mail. A booking is binding upon confirmation and payment. You provide truthful and complete information when booking.
Payment
Payments are made in advance via the payment gateway or on site. A receipt is sent by e-mail after payment.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule free of charge no later than 24 hours before the session. Later cancellations or no-shows are charged the full price, except in cases of acute illness or similar.
Online consultations
Online consultations run on Google Meet. The client must have a stable internet connection, camera and microphone. If the session cannot take place for technical reasons, it is rescheduled at no charge.
Complaints
Issues are handled individually. Submit a complaint by e-mail to info@activeosteopathy.cz with a description. We respond within 30 days.
Buying in the shop
This chapter covers the purchase of goods and digital content (online courses, e-books, audio) in the shop at activeosteopathy.cz. Both consumers and businesses may buy; the withdrawal provisions apply to consumers only. You add items to the basket, fill in your contact and delivery details, and place a binding order with the button “Objednat a zaplatit” (Order and pay). Before you send it you see the total including delivery, and you can review and correct the order. The contract is concluded when the order confirmation reaches the e-mail address you gave. It contains a summary of the order, these terms and the withdrawal instruction. Keep it — it is your copy of the contract.
Prices and discounts
All prices are in Czech crowns and are final. The provider is not registered for VAT, so no tax is added; only the delivery method you choose is added, and you see that in the basket before you place the order. Where a crossed-out price is shown, it is the lowest price at which we offered the item in the 30 days before the discount began (§ 12a of Act No. 634/1992 Coll.). For an item we have sold for less than 30 days, it is the lowest price over the time it has been on sale. Discounts do not stack. Exactly one applies — whichever saves you more.
Delivery
Digital content is unlocked in the client area the moment payment goes through, and we e-mail you the link. If you did not have an account with us, the confirmation carries a link to set your password. Physical goods are handed over in the practice or sent to a Zásilkovna pick-up point, whichever you choose in the basket. Items in stock are dispatched within two working days. If delivery is going to take longer, we tell you before you start waiting. Risk of damage passes to you when you take delivery.
Withdrawal within 14 days
As a consumer you may withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days, without giving a reason and without penalty. The period runs from the day you take delivery of the goods, or, for digital content, from the day the contract is concluded. Send us an e-mail at info@activeosteopathy.cz or a letter to the address above. You may use the model form, but you do not have to. The deadline is met if you send the notice on the last day at the latest. Return the goods within 14 days of withdrawing; you bear the cost of returning them. Within 14 days of withdrawal we refund every payment received, including delivery — capped at the cheapest delivery method we offer — by the same means you used to pay. We may hold the refund until the goods come back or until you show that you have sent them. There is no withdrawal from digital content whose delivery you expressly agreed to before the period ended while confirming that you thereby lose the right to withdraw (§ 1837(l) of the Civil Code). We ask for that consent at the checkout and store its exact wording. Without it we do not unlock the content until the 14 days are up. Faulty goods
We are liable for defects present on delivery for 24 months. A defect appearing within 12 months of delivery is presumed to have been there already. Claim by e-mail at info@activeosteopathy.cz or in person at the practice. We confirm receipt of the claim in writing and settle it within 30 days at the latest. If we miss that deadline you may withdraw from the contract or ask for a replacement. For digital content we are liable for it matching its description and working throughout the period it is provided.
Liability
Osteopathy does not replace medical care. The client is obliged to disclose all health limitations and current medication. The provider is not liable for damage caused by withholding essential information.
Out-of-court dispute resolution
If we cannot settle a dispute directly, you have the right as a consumer to turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, which is competent for consumer ADR: Česká obchodní inspekce, Ústřední inspektorát – oddělení ADR Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic adr.coi.cz, adr@coi.cz The procedure is free for consumers and can be started within one year of the day you first raised the matter with us. The same authority supervises compliance with consumer-protection law.
Validity
These terms are valid as of September 2026. The current version is always available on the website. Matters not regulated by these terms are governed by the Czech Civil Code.
